JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/objective:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining car wash equipment and helping
troubleshoot and fix equipment issues. Equipment includes but is not limited to
automatic bays, self-serve bays, vacuums, water systems, and electrical systems.
Essential Functions:
-Maintain a positive attitude/work environment, and have fun while working at the locations!
-Service and repair car wash equipment.
-Including but not limited to: auto bay equipment, self-serve bay equipment, vacuums, doors, etc.
-Either at new facilities or existing facilities (equipment upgrades).
-Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and problems in person and over the phone as needed.
-Perform regular “tech visits” to designated locations and fill out proper paperwork to record visits and findings.
-On call responsibilities: respond to “emergency” equipment issues and assist the Site Manager in repairing equipment or diagnosing an issue.

Required Experience and Skills:
Must have a minimum 1 year of experience in one of the following categories:
-HVAC - (Wiring, controls, relays, etc.)
-Plumbing
-Electrical
-Construction/carpentry
-Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
-Ability to maintain a safe, clean, working environment
-Organizational skills to keep schedule and tools organized and accessible
-Ability to work with a team to accomplish desired results
-Ability to learn quickly and ask questions
Work Environment: On-site at assigned wash locations.
Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
